I'm a girl with a healthy, but slightly unnerving obsession with food. I love to cook food, I love to eat food, I love to draw food. When I'm not eating it, cooking it, preparing it, or talking about it, I'm probably dreaming about it.
This blog is my way of sharing the love, and giving my poor friends a break.
... Did I mention I'm looking for work?
Monday night was the first ever Lou Loves Food communal cook off, featuring baked camembert stuffed with garlic and rosemary, and salmon, spinach and cream cheese wrapped in filo pastry.
Thanks to Aleks and Lisa for the use of your kitchen, and your courgette, and to Raylin and Helene, for the fresh salmon fillets and the helping hands! Can't wait to do it again xx
Thankyou so much! I love to hear that you are enjoying it :) Its really very easy... Preheat the oven high. Then you simply peel some garlic and wedge whole chunks into the camambert and do the same with sprigs of rosemary. Put the camembert in the oven and heat it up so they garlic roasts and th camembert melts and goes all gooey. Don't be timid- leave it in for about 25 minutes. Serve it in its wooden box, with big roughly torn pieces of quality bread or ciabbata. Its so gorgeous. xx
Hi :)
ReplyDeleteFirstly, I would like to convey how much I love your blog :) There are so many brilliant ideas - and your food photography is praiseworthy !!
Secondly, I was wondering - how can I obtain the recipe for your 'baked camembert stuffed with garlic and rosemary' ?
Kindest regards,
Mike
